Sousa Mendes Street Fair is happening Saturday October 17th, 10-5pm. This was put forward by the folks on Sousa Mendes and Metrolinx after finally finishing construction on the Railpath back to Hendersons Brewery. The idea is a big street fair to showcase businesses along the strip and bring back the community to our area! For this I am planning to open our studio for the fair for folks to come for a little free play with clay and to have  a small pop up market on the front table, and a pop-up table outside. Take this as an open call for folks who would want to participate in our pop-up market that day and info is below for this:

Sousa Mendes Street Fair Market Info:

• Happening 10a-5p Saturday October 17th

• Put out a small collection of items to sell and have your artist cards / small sign with it

• Can bring some furniture / decor but nothing giant to overwhelm others works

• Can bring extra items to put out as things sell

• Free to participate but a 5% commission will be taken to cover payment processing fees of sales made (this is only if you sell items). All items sold will be compiled and an invoice requested for pay out. Pay outs are e-transfers sent up to 5 business days after.

• Packaging and bags are provided by the studio

• Just like any of our markets you don’t have to be there, but we encourage you to stop by at some point and also to enjoy the street fair!

• Items are to be dropped off for set up between Thursday Oct 15 - Friday October 16. Jes will set up after the Sip n’ Sculpt that night / October 17 8-10a. Load out is after the fair 5-7p.

• This specific market is for members only to showcase all of y’all!

• I will need a few folks to help out during the street fair & set up. If anyone is keen to help!
