Introducing you to the world of press molds, a fast and detailed way to produce multiples and or ornate details to add onto works, adding repetition and consistency without making your eyes go cross!
During this 4 week course you will:
Learn about creating molds and their various applications
Make 1-3 press molds and work with them to create a collection of multiples
Make 1-2 Drape molds and learn to work with them
Learn about slicing and adding molded objects together
Learn more creative applications in mold making to introduce into your practice
Glaze and have fire final works
Duration: This is an 4 week course, Thursday nights March 5 - March 26, 5:30 - 8:30p
Cost: $265 +HST, includes enrolment, all materials and firings

This course is led by Kitte Club Owner Jes Young. Jes has worked with Mold Making and Ceramics for 10 years - continuing to create artist multiples. They’ve taught multiple mold making classes including Mold Making at York U and consistently use mold making techniques in their artistic practice. They are always excited to share mold making with folk who are new to this practice!
