In this multi-sessional hand building course we will expand beyond basic techniques, learning more about our medium to help us in planning more cohesive artwork, problem solving should things not go as planned, and finishing those final sculptures.
This course is great for intermediate and advanced ceramicists, who are looking to expand and fine tune your skills and techniques while having an experienced ceramicist around to give direction while taking on new more elaborate sculptures whether decorative or functional. For this course it’s recommended to come in with an idea or some inspiration of what you want to create!
Duration: This is an 6 week course, Wednesdays 5:30-8:30pm from September 10 - October 15
Cost: $485 +HST includes enrolment, clay, studio equipment & tools, 1 bisque firing, access to glazes and underglazes, and a final glaze firing. Please note it can take between 2-3.5 weeks to receive your final piece!

This course is taught by Jes Young, founder of Kitte Club. Jes uses all sorts of techniques and methods of handbuilding in their practice and are always happy to share tips and tricks to help learners build on their knowledge and techniques in ceramics. Believe them when they say, nothing is too out there.
