Handbuilding Fundamentals
As Michael Scott said in The Office: “Fundamentals. It is mental just how fun it’s going to be!”.
Well, he’s not wrong. During this fundamentals workshop we are going to get into the nitty gritty of working with clay through a variety of handbuilding techniques such as: slab building, pinch pots, coil building, and hollowing forms, building in both constructive and reductive methods and really getting into sculpting as a 3D medium.
This course is great for beginners and intermediate ceramicists, whether with zero or some experience, who are looking to develop and or fine tune skills and techniques, while applying them into little projects throughout the course! Come on and get your hands dirty!
Duration: This is an 7 week course, Wednesdays 6-9pm from April 30 - June 11
Cost: $495 +HST
Spots: This is an intimate class with only 8 spots available
